Basketball Recap: Mayflower Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Perryville last Tuesday, Mayflower came back down to earth. The Mayflower Eagles took a hard 56-41 fall against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards on Friday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mayflower's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Dardanelle, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mayflower will venture away from home to take on Harmony Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dardanelle, they will head out to face off against Danville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Dardanelle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Danville likes a good challenge.
