Basketball Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 59-23 defeat at the hands of the Northridge Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Jaguars are ranked 48th).

Sipsey Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Northridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Sipsey Valley has already played their next match (against Holt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
