After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southern Wells, Liberty Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 18-6 margin over the Park Tudor Panthers. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Ellie Callahan was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two triples, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.
