The Huskies fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hemlock's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hemlock beat Michigan Lutheran Seminary by a score of 6-1 later that day.
