Basketball Recap: Oliver Forrester's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Canterbury over Saint Stephen's Episcopal + How To Watch

If Canterbury was riding high fresh off their 50-28 takedown of Academy at the Lakes on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders lost to the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons at home by a 55-41 margin on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 50-39 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Canterbury lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Oliver Forrester, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brooks Merrill, who earned six points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Canterbury fell to 2-1. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canterbury will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off.
