While Hale Ray's victory against Coginchaug Regional wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Noises skirted past the Blue Devils 1-0. The win was nothing new for the Noises as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Lily Jahne was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackie Goetz, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

Hale Ray pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Coginchaug Regional, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Hale Ray will square off against Cromwell at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coginchaug Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
