Basketball Recap: Southland Christian Piles Up the Points Against IMG Academy Silver

Southland Christian won the last time they faced IMG Academy Silver and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southland Christian FLAMES really took it to the IMG Academy Silver Ascenders for the full four quarters, racking up an 87-31 win. The FLAMES have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 25 points or more this season.

Carlos Escalera Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Javon Chavez was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 16 points.

Southland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for IMG Academy Silver, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
