Baseball Preview: Santana Sultans vs. Helix Highlanders        
        
		
            
 The Santana Sultans will be playing at home against the Helix Highlanders at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Helix took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Santana, who comes in off a win.
 Last Thursday, Santana was able to grind out a solid  victory over Steele Canyon, taking the game  4-1. Four seems to be a good number for Santana as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Nathan Dowers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  Charles Dibble was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and a  stolen base.
 Meanwhile, Helix fought the good fight in their extra-innings  match against Sage Creek  last Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of  3-1.
 Helix saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jake Hopkins, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base.
 Santana has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-12 record  this season. As for Helix, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost six of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record  this season.
 Santana beat Helix 10-5  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. Does  Santana have another victory up their sleeve, or will Helix turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
