Basketball Recap: Father Capodanno Comes Up Short

Father Capodanno was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-21 defeat at the hands of The O'Neal School Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why Father Capodanno lost, don't look at Jonah Marsh. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 61.9% of Father Capodanno's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Father Capodanno's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for The O'Neal School, their victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Father Capodanno is taking a road trip to take on LifeSpring Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The O'Neal School, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-20 defeat against Fayetteville Christian on the 11th.
