Basketball Recap: Mclaughlin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McLaughlin can now relate to. They took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lemmon Cowboys on Thursday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cowboys earlier this season, when they won 47-35.

McLaughlin moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Lemmon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

As of now, neither McLaughlin nor Lemmon have any future games scheduled.
