Lafayette is 9-1 against New Hope since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Commodores will challenge the Trojans. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Lafayette is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Cleveland Central 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Commodores in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won seven in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lafayette was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-10.

Vicksburg typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday New Hope proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 3-0 win.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 14-19. As for New Hope, their win bumped their record up to 11-21.

Lafayette took their victory against New Hope in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
