Volleyball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Takes a Loss

If Stow-Munroe Falls was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Roosevelt last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Twinsburg Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Stow-Munroe Falls was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-21.

Loss or not, Stow-Munroe Falls got some senior leadership from Zoey Mccullough and Carrie Winkler. Mccullough had 19 digs and two assists, while Winkler had 14 assists and eight digs. Winkler has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Stow-Munroe Falls now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Twinsburg, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
