Westlake is 10-0 against Bowie since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Westlake Chaparrals will welcome the Bowie Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Westlake will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Westlake was fully in charge, breezing past Austin 67-35. Given the Chaparrals' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Maroons are ranked 701st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bowie earned a 53-43 win over Dripping Springs on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Westlake has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Bowie, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13.

Westlake was able to grind out a solid win over Bowie when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 58-50. Will Westlake repeat their success, or does Bowie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
