Volleyball Recap: John J. Duggan Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Libertas Academy Charter on Monday, John J. Duggan Academy came back down to earth. John J. Duggan Academy lost 3-0 to Veritas Prep Charter on Wednesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-16.

John J. Duggan Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Veritas Prep Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John J. Duggan Academy will challenge Mount Everett Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Veritas Prep Charter, they will take on Smith Vo-Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
