Layton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hunter Wolverines. The win continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won five in a row.

Layton's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Hunter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Layton and Hunter will both be playing Riverton the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Silverwolves at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
