Randolph has gone a perfect 4-0 against Missisquoi Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Ghosts will head out to take on the Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Randolph is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Middlebury, who was ranked first at the time (Randolph was ranked fifth). The Ghosts came up short against the Tigers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Ghosts' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Middlebury scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Missisquoi Valley lost 3-0 to Lyndon Institute on Wednesday. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Missisquoi Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything went Randolph's way against Missisquoi Valley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Randolph made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ghosts since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
