Softball Recap: Eufaula's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eufaula won the last time they faced Charles Henderson and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 10-7. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jade Barnett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Eufaula got a massive performance out of Emerson Faircloth, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Those four stolen bases gave Faircloth a new career-high. Maddie Dowling also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Eufaula was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They are 7-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Eufaula's record is now 12-16. As for Charles Henderson, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Eufaula will square off against Headland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charles Henderson, they will face off against Kinston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
