Soccer Recap: Rancho Buena Vista Finishes Even with Torrey Pines

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Rancho Buena Vista was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Torrey Pines Falcons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jacob Garcia and Jonathan Cruz scored both of Rancho Buena Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

With that draw, Rancho Buena Vista's record moves to 10-4-3. Meanwhile, Torrey Pines' record is now 4-10-1.

Rancho Buena Vista will head out on the road to take on San Dieguito Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Torrey Pines, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Oceanside at 6:00 p.m. Oceanside will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Torrey Pines surely won't give up without a fight.
