Soccer Recap: Irrigon Comes Up Short

Irrigon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Four Rivers Falcons. Irrigon were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Four Rivers earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Irrigon's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Four Rivers, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Irrigon will challenge Grant Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Irrigon will be up against Grant Union's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.45 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Four Rivers, they will square off against Umatilla at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
