Baseball Recap: Pitman Takes a Loss

Pitman fell victim to Overbrook and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 11-0. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Logan Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Pitman's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Overbrook, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pitman will challenge Paulsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Overbrook, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Haddon Heights at 4:00 p.m. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Garnets have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
