Soccer Recap: Buford Comes Up Short

Buford came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-1 to the Lugoff-Elgin Demons. The defeat continues a trend for Buford in their meetings with Lugoff-Elgin: they've now lost three in a row.

Buford's goal came courtesy of Payton Bowers, who's now up to eight this season.

Buford's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
