Basketball Recap: Meadow Heights Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Meadow Heights duked it out withLeopold on Tuesday. The Meadow Heights Panthers walked away with a 76-65 victory over the Leopold Wildcats. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 52-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Meadow Heights has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Leopold, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadow Heights has already played their next contest (against Advance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Leopold will welcome Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
