You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Hobbton's strategy against East Columbus on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wildcats blew the Gators out of the water with a 35-6 final score. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Amir Tate continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 124 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 116 rushing yards. Another back making a difference was Isaiah Williams, who rushed for 32 yards and two scores.

Hobbton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Javont'E Johnson and Joe Corbett.

Hobbton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for East Columbus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
