Baseball Recap: Bainbridge-Guilford Beats Gilboa-Conesville Central for Their Third Straight Win

Bainbridge-Guilford strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Gilboa-Conesville Central Wildcats as they made off with a 12-2 victory.

Bainbridge-Guilford got a massive performance out of Parker Buttice, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave Buttice a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Davy, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Bainbridge-Guilford's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Gilboa-Conesville Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bainbridge-Guilford will face off against Harpursville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Gilboa-Conesville Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Middleburgh at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
