Baseball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was the 5-3 winner over Danville when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Hot Dogs fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Hot Dogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Frankfort's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Danville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-14.

Frankfort didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against Hamilton Heights on the 24th. As for Danville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against Guerin Catholic on the 24th.
