Wills Point took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Wills Point had just enough and edged out Ford 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wills Point's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-13. As for Ford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
