Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Charles Catholic). They put the hurt on the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights with a sharp 8-1 victory on Monday. Considering the Comets have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six matches. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6-1 record this season.

St. Charles Catholic has already played their next contest (against Morris Jeff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lafayette Christian Academy will take on Westminster Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
