Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grayslake North). They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Crystal Lake South Gators on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

The win made it two in a row for Grayslake North and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matchups. As for Crystal Lake South, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Grayslake North will challenge McHenry at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. McHenry's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Crystal Lake South, they will head out on the road to face off against Vernon Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crystal Lake South will be up against Vernon Hills' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
