Volleyball Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. East Forsyth Eagles

The Reagan Raiders will challenge the East Forsyth Eagles at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. East Forsyth took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Reagan, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Reagan earned a 3-1 victory over R.J. Reynolds.

Reagan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, East Forsyth came up short against Northern Guilford on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, 24-26, 26-24.

East Forsyth now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Reagan, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Everything went Reagan's way against East Forsyth in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Reagan made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reagan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
