Softball Recap: Bledsoe County Warriors vs. Sequatchie County Indians
Bledsoe County lost to Sequatchie County back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warriors walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Indians. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 24, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Josie Potter was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Macy Holland was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Cameran Tollet also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Bledsoe County pushed their record up to 13-7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Sequatchie County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-5.
