It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Bay Haven Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bozeman Bucks as they made off with an 11-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers, who have now won 16 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ally Brady made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI and one run. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, McKenzie Goff was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Bailee Gladden was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

North Bay Haven Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bozeman only posted an OBP of .120.

North Bay Haven Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bozeman, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
