Krum had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the Wills Point Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-12 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.

Will Holland had a dynamite game, rushing for 206 yards and one TD on only ten carries. Those 206 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Mateo Gonzalez, who rushed for 41 yards and a pair of scores.

Although Wills Point took the loss, they still got scores from BRIAN MARTINEZ, BRAEDYN CROW, and BRAYLON BRADLEY.

Krum will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Worth at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Wills Point, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-0 victory against Venus on the 5th.
