Fremont's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the MacDonald Condor as they made off with a 15-2 victory. This was a revenge game for the Firebirds: when they faced off against the Condor back in April, they had to take a 12-6 loss.

Charlene Hiek made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI.
