Preview: Dream City Christian National vs. Shabach Christian Academy Eagles
Dream City Christian National will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Shabach Christian Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on December 18th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Two weeks ago, Dream City Christian National came up short against Link Academy and fell 67-59.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zoe Carrillo, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Andrea Becerra, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Shabach Christian Academy entered their tilt with Mt. Zion Prep Academy with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Shabach Christian Academy came out on top against Mt. Zion Prep Academy by a score of 66-59 on Friday. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but Shabach Christian Academy was the better team in the second half.
Dream City Christian National's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Shabach Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
