Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They came up short against the West Campus Warriors on Thursday, falling 10-0. The loss leaves the Vikings still looking for their first win of the season.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Campus, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will face off against Florin at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley is facing Florin at the right time seeing as Florin is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for West Campus, they will be playing at home against Mesa Verde at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. West Campus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
