Volleyball Recap: Alvirne Comes Up Short

Alvirne lost against Pinkerton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Broncos came up short against the Astros, falling 3-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alvirne was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-15.

Alvirne's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Pinkerton, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alvirne will challenge rival Windham at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pinkerton is set to square off against their familiar foe Bedford at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
