James Frugoli put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Saturday. He wasn't messing around, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Even though Frugoli couldn't lead Niles Notre Dame over Marian Catholic, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Dons have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
