Softball Recap: Piedmont Hills Takes a Loss

Piedmont Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-0 to the North Salinas Vikings.

Piedmont Hills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Flores, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that Flores hit this season.

Piedmont Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Salinas, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Piedmont Hills will be taking part in a tournament against Independence at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Salinas, they will look to defend their home field on March 10th against Rancho San Juan at 3:30 p.m.
