Basketball Recap: Wendover Takes a Loss

Wendover and Manila squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Wendover had to settle for second. They fell to the Manila Mustangs 67-63. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 50-46 loss two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manila to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Muir, who posted 18 points. Muir's big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Brackin Lail was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Wendover's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Manila, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-14.

As of now, neither Wendover nor Manila have any future games scheduled.
