Soccer Recap: Sacred Heart-Griffin Comes Up Short

If Sacred Heart-Griffin was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Springfield Southeast last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cyclones fell just short of the Rochester Rockets by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Sacred Heart-Griffin couldn't quite close it out.

As for Rochester, they will venture away from home to take on Morton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morton will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Rochester surely won't give up without a fight.
