Parklane Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets with a sharp 35-12 win. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Parklane Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Kyzar out in front who rushed for 153 yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Davis Carruth, who gained 121 total yards and three touchdowns.

Parklane Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Oak Forest Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Parklane Academy will take on Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Forest Academy, they will square off against Columbia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
