Baseball Recap: Silver Valley Takes a Loss

Silver Valley lost against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans came up short against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, falling 9-3. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silver Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Bowlan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. Adrian Gutierrez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Silver Valley now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Silver Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Victor Valley Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy will face off against rival Lucerne Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
