Baseball Recap: Gulliver Prep Takes a Loss

Gulliver Prep blew Miami Springs out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Miami Springs got their revenge. The Raiders fell just short of the Golden Hawks by a score of 4-2. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Gulliver Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Herrera, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Gulliver Prep's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Miami Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Gulliver Prep will host Everglades at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Miami Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
