Baseball Game Preview: Morgan County Cougars vs. East Carter Raiders

For the second straight game, Morgan County will face off against East Carter. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Morgan County is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since April 4th on Monday. They came up short against East Carter, falling 10-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grayson Hampton made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

The victory snapped East Carter's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-9 record. As for Morgan County, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-10.
