Football Recap: King's Comes Up Short

King scored first but ultimately less than Rochester in their game on Friday. They took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

It was another big night for Ethan Rodriguez, who rushed for 261 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.4 yards per carry for Rochester. The Warriors also got a significant boost from Maddox Rodgers, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 99 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for King's and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Rochester, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

King's has already played their next matchup, a 24-21 win against Cedar Park Christian on the 17th. As for Rochester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 22-14 defeat against Montesano on the 17th.
