Basketball Recap: Marinette Comes Up Short

Marinette came up into this matchup off a tough 20-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Clintonville Truckers by a score of 61-59 on Thursday. The Marines just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Marinette's record now sits at 2-19. As for Clintonville, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-17.

Coincidentally, Marinette and Clintonville will both be playing Little Chute the next time they take the court. Clintonville will host Little Chute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marinette will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
