Basketball Recap: Kempsville Has No Trouble Against Bayside

Kempsville won the last time they faced Bayside and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Kempsville Chiefs strolled past the Bayside Marlins with points to spare, taking the game 53-35. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Chiefs this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Kempsville and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Bayside, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Kempsville will head out on the road to face off against Green Run at 5:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Bayside, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Deep Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Deep Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Bayside likes a good challenge.
