Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Castle walked away with it. They came out on top against the Evansville North Huskies by a score of 9-4 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Emma Bruggenschmidt, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Mati Hughes was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Castle hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 7-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
