 The Le Grand Bulldogs will head out on the road to  square off against  the Mariposa County Grizzlies at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Mariposa County took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Le Grand, who comes in off a win.
 Le Grand took a loss when they played away from home  on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Denair  6-5.
  DIEGO MARTINEZ was a major factor no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned runs off   ten  hits. MARTINEZ has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. MARTINEZ was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  CASH SAPIEN, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.  BENJAMIM REYES was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Mariposa County lost  14-4 to Gustine on Friday.
 Le Grand is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record  this season. As for Mariposa County, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-7.
