Volleyball Game Preview: Prairie View Thunderhawks vs. Brighton Bulldogs + How To Watch

Prairie View hasn't had much luck against Brighton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Thunderhawks will venture away from home to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Prairie View will be strutting in after a win while Brighton will be coming in after a defeat.

Prairie View had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Northglenn on Thursday. The Thunderhawks put the hurt on the Norsemen with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Prairie View was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-10.

Meanwhile, in Thursday's Canine Competition, Brighton had to take the L. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westminster on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Brighton ultimately came up short, they really made Westminster work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-14, 24-26, 25-21.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Prairie View, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Prairie View was able to grind out a solid victory over Brighton in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderhawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
